Maha-Metro has started a big project to build 14 new raised metro stations in Pune. This is part of a larger plan to improve transportation in the city, with a total cost of ₹9,897.19 crore. These new stations will help people travel better across Pune and make the city more modern.

There are two main routes for the metro. One route, called Kharadi-Khadakwasla, will be 25.518 kilometers long and will have 22 elevated stations. The second route, Nal Stop-Manik Baug, will be 6.118 kilometers long with six stations. These routes will connect important areas in Pune and help many people move around easily.

The company chosen to design these stations will take care of many things like planning, engineering, and making sure everything works well together. They also need to follow rules that help protect the environment, showing that Maha-Metro wants to build in a way that's good for the planet.

The new stations won't only be for trains but will also have shops and places for advertisements. There will even be an extra floor for businesses, which will help earn money for the metro system.

Thanks to the central government speeding up the approval process, the design work can start quickly. This is important because it shows that improving public transport in Pune is a priority.
