A serious fight happened in Pune’s Wakad area that led to the death of a 40-year-old man named Rahul Kachru Ghewande. He died on April 13, 2023, after being hurt badly by two young men.
The fight started on April 10 when Ghewande, who worked as a painter, accidentally urinated on the foot of one of the attackers, Yash Sunil Kalate, who’s 22 years old. The other attacker, Maruti Kisan Gundekar, is 21. This small mistake turned into a big fight, showing that people need to be careful about how they act in public places.
The police in Hinjewadi acted quickly and arrested both Kalate and Gundekar after the fight. They also filed an official report against them, starting the legal process for this serious crime since it led to someone’s death.
After the fight, Ghewande’s health got worse, and he needed immediate help at a hospital. Even though doctors tried their best to save him for three days, he sadly passed away on April 13. This changed the case from just an assault to a much more serious crime.
