Pune Businessman Found Dead in Bihar After Alleged Kidnapping

A businessman from Pune named Laxman Sadhu Shinde was found dead in Bihar after he went there for a business meeting. He was 55 years old and arrived in Patna on April 11, 2023, to meet a business contact named Shivraj Sagi. However, just three days later, his body was discovered in Jehanabad, Bihar.

The police started investigating right after Shinde’s family reported him missing on April 12. They found out that some people had kidnapped him soon after he landed in Patna. These kidnappers took money from his bank account, withdrawing ₹90,000 using his ATM card before he was killed.

The police worked together across different areas in Bihar and arrested seven suspects involved in the kidnapping and murder of Shinde. They learned that the kidnappers hurt him badly because he wouldn’t give them more information about his bank accounts.

Shinde’s body was found in Jehanabad, which is about 71 kilometers from Patna. This sad event shows how dangerous it can be for business travelers and how organized crime can operate in the area.

Police have gathered important evidence that shows the suspects planned this crime carefully. They pretended to be legitimate business people to trick Shinde into coming to Patna.

Because of this incident, police are warning other businesses to be careful and check who they meet for business.

This case has led to better safety measures and teamwork between police in different states. Investigators are still looking at digital evidence and talking to witnesses to make sure everyone involved is caught and punished.

The incident has sparked discussions about safety in Pune politics and the need for better protection of business travelers.
