Retired ACP Injured Due to Loose Cable While Riding in Pune

A retired police officer named Arvind Ramchandra Patil, who’s 68 years old, got hurt in Pune while riding his motorcycle. This happened around 10:00 a.m. at Hirabaug Chowk when his bike got stuck in a hanging internet cable.

Because of this accident, Mr. Patil hurt his left leg, shoulder, and waist badly. He also injured the nerve in his right hand, which means he’d to go to the hospital for stitches.

Many people in the community are worried about safety because the cable had been hanging for four days before this happened. Local residents were upset and said that the cable should have been fixed earlier. This shows that the people responsible for checking the roads and cables aren’t doing their job well. It’s important to keep the area safe for everyone.

The police and fire department quickly came to help and removed the dangerous cable. They also wrote a letter to the Pune Municipal Corporation, asking them to take action so that this doesn’t happen again.

Legal action is being taken against the company that put up the internet cables. This is to make sure they follow the rules about keeping the area safe.

This incident has made city officials think about having better rules for putting up internet cables. Community leaders are asking for better ways to communicate with the government about dangerous situations.

This accident shows how important it’s to keep roads and cables safe, especially as more people use the internet in cities.

The incident adds to the growing list of Pune crime news related to infrastructure safety concerns in the city.
