India-Uzbekistan Joint Anti-Terror Drill Held in Pune

India and Uzbekistan are working together to make their armies stronger. They’ve started their sixth joint military exercise called DUSTLIK-VI in Aundh, Pune, on April 17, 2025. This exercise will last for twelve days and end on April 28, 2025. It shows how both countries are becoming better friends in terms of defense.

In this exercise, 60 soldiers from India’s Jat Regiment and the Indian Air Force are joining forces with soldiers from the Uzbekistan Army. They’re practicing how to work together in different situations, especially in places that look like cities where there could be fights with terrorists.

The main goal of DUSTLIK-VI is to practice how to respond to terrorist attacks and other dangerous situations. The soldiers will learn advanced ways to protect areas, use drones, and deal with flying machines that aren’t piloted by people. The Indian Air Force is helping with all the necessary supplies during the exercise.

The training will mix new fighting techniques with old military ways, so the soldiers can deal with new threats in busy city areas. By doing special practice sessions, soldiers from both countries will learn better ways to work together and understand each other’s military rules.

This exercise is very important for India and Uzbekistan because it helps them share knowledge and skills. They’ll talk about strategies and best ways to fight against terrorism, making their security partnership even stronger.

DUSTLIK-VI also highlights how important it’s for soldiers to be ready for fights in cities today. By using new technologies and smart strategies, both countries show they’re serious about facing modern security problems together.
