student s tragic suicide

A student from Pune’s Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) died by suicide in his hostel room. Aneet Abhishek, who was studying MSc in Applied Chemistry, was found dead in his room and doctors couldn’t save him at the hospital.

The college quickly told everyone about this sad event and said they’d help students who feel sad or worried. They’ll now have more counselors (people who help students with their problems) and create groups where students can talk about their feelings.

Police are looking into what happened and found a suicide note in Aneet’s room. They’re checking everything carefully to understand why this happened, but aren’t sharing all details right now.

The college leaders said it’s very important for students to talk to their teachers when they’ve problems with studies or feel troubled. They’ve made it easier for students to meet counselors at any time and share their worries without fear.

DIAT will now have special classes to teach students how to handle stress and stay happy. They’ll help students understand when someone needs help and how to support each other. These classes will happen throughout the year.

The college has made a special team of teachers, doctors, and students to make sure everyone gets help when needed. They want all students to know that it’s okay to ask for help when feeling sad or stressed. The college promises to take care of both studies and students’ happiness.

This incident has prompted increased attention to mental health across Pune’s educational institutions, with several colleges implementing similar support systems.
