Pune’s office spaces showed amazing growth in the first three months of 2025, becoming one of the best cities for business buildings in India. The city got 15% of all office deals in the country, which is very good news for Pune’s growth.

Companies in Pune took up 2.07 million square feet of office space, which is 21% more than the last three months and 59% more than last year. Many banks and flex offices (where different companies share workspace) moved into their new offices during this time, making the numbers go up a lot.

When we look at all the office deals in India, which was about 20 million square feet, Pune did very well with 3.5 million square feet of deals. This made Pune one of the top three cities in India for office space, along with Bengaluru and Mumbai.

New office buildings also came up quickly in Pune. Builders finished 3.2 million square feet of new offices in these three months. This was 53% more than the last three months and almost double from last year. More buildings are coming up – about 10 million square feet in 2025 and 11 million square feet in 2026.

Pune is doing so well because it has good computer and IT facilities, office rents aren’t too expensive, and there are many skilled workers in the city. Many banks and shared office companies are coming to Pune, which is good because different types of companies make the market stronger.

The city is becoming very important for office spaces in India. Many companies have already promised to take new offices that are being built. This shows that Pune will keep growing as an important city for business buildings in the coming years. The future looks bright for Pune’s office market, and it will become even more important in India’s business world.
