Kaustubh Gunbote, a 58-year-old businessman from Pune and owner of Gunbote Farsan snacks shop, died during a family trip to Pahalgam in Kashmir. He was getting ready for his grandchild’s naming ceremony when this sad event happened.
His family had pushed him to go on this holiday because Mr. Gunbote rarely took breaks from his work. He was very busy planning a big naming ceremony for his grandchild, but now this special event will happen without him being there.
Mr. Gunbote came from a small town called Phaltan in Satara district. He worked very hard to make his snacks business, Gunbote Farsan, very successful in Pune. Everyone knew him as someone who took good care of his customers and workers, which helped his business grow bigger and bigger.
He was so focused on his work that he never had time for holidays or fun activities. His son Kunal, who works in an IT company in Hinjewadi, and other family members wanted him to go to Kashmir because they thought he needed some rest.
The Kashmir trip was special because it was different from his daily work life. He was very happy about becoming a grandfather and had planned everything perfectly for the naming ceremony, just like he did in his business.
After Mr. Gunbote’s death, many people in Pune’s business community are very sad. He started his business from a small beginning and made it very big. People will remember him not just for his successful business but also for how nicely he treated his customers and workers. His death has taught everyone that while work is important, taking care of our health and spending time with family is also very important.
The incident has been added to Pune crime news records for documentation purposes.
