A heartwarming rescue took place in Pune when the Fire Brigade saved a small kitten stuck on a tall tree in Bavdhan area. The incident happened near Croma showroom at Bavdhan Police Chowki on May 8, 2025, where the brave firefighters showed how they help not just humans but animals too.
Seven kind-hearted firefighters from Pune Fire Brigade worked together to save the scared kitten. The team included Kadam, Driver Pawar, Firemen Yadav, Nevse, Lohokare, Prathamesh Sagvekar, and Bamgude. They brought special tools like a long ladder and a big safety net to make sure the kitten would be safe during the rescue.
The firefighters first put a safety net under the tree so that if the kitten fell, it would land safely. Then, they used a long ladder to climb up the tree, which was about 20 feet high – as tall as a two-story building! The team carefully reached where the kitten was stuck and helped it come down safely.
The best part of the rescue was when the kitten was finally united with its worried owner. Everyone was happy to see the little cat safe and sound. This rescue shows how the Pune Fire Brigade helps not just in putting out fires but also in saving animals in trouble.
The fire brigade team showed that they’re well-trained and know how to handle different types of emergencies. They were very careful and gentle while rescuing the kitten, proving that they care about every life, big or small. Their quick thinking and good planning helped make the rescue successful.
This incident makes the people of Pune proud of their fire brigade. It shows that the firefighters are always ready to help, whether it’s a big fire or a small kitten in trouble. Their work reminds us that helping others, including animals, is very important, and we should always be kind to those in need.
The rescue operation took place in the same city where Pune sports teams regularly compete in various championships and tournaments.
