Pune Municipal Corporation has made big changes in where people can park their cars in Baner and Balewadi areas. Now, people can’t park their vehicles on an 800-meter road from Amar Arma Genesis to Solitaire 9 Society. Also, parking isn’t allowed on a 500-meter road from High Street, Balewadi to Park Express Society.
These changes are made to make traffic move better on these busy roads. When cars are parked on both sides of the road, it becomes difficult for other vehicles to move. The new rules will help people drive safely and make the roads less crowded.
The city office has also made some areas where people can park their cars. The road from Park Express Society Gate to Pune Municipal Corporation School is now marked as P-1 and P-2 parking zones. This means people can park their vehicles here following some rules.
Ambulances and other emergency vehicles don’t have to follow these parking rules. They can stop anywhere when they need to help people. The old parking rules in these areas are no longer used, and everyone must follow the new rules now.
The city office will put up signs in the next seven days to show where people can and can’t park their cars. After putting up all the signs, they’ll tell the traffic police office about it. This will help make sure everyone knows about the new rules.
These changes will work well only if people follow the rules properly. The city office hopes these new rules will help solve traffic problems in Baner area. If these rules work well here, they might use the same rules in other parts of Pune city too. The main goal is to make roads safer and less crowded for everyone.
