pune bridge closure for metro

The Bhide Bridge in Pune will be closed from April 21 for about one and a half months. This closure is needed because MahaMetro is building a new Metro line. During this time, they’ll also make a special bridge for people to walk across.

The traffic police have made new routes for cars and bikes to follow. If you want to go to Deccan Gymkhana, you can now take two different ways. You can either go through Tilak Chowk and Khandojibaba Chowk, or you can use the Kakasaheb Gadgil Bridge.

People coming from Narayan Peth area have two choices too. They can use Kelkar Road or go through Maharshi Vitthal Ramji Shinde Bridge. If you need to go to Mehendale Garage area, you’ll have to go through Tilak Chowk and Khandojibaba Chowk.

The traffic police have thought about everyone while making these new routes. They’ve made sure that cars, bikes, and buses can all move easily. They’ve also looked at how busy the roads get during morning and evening times.

MahaMetro is building a special bridge for people who walk. This bridge will help people cross the area safely while the main bridge is closed. This shows that they care about people who walk to their work or school.

The traffic police want all drivers to follow the new routes properly. If everyone follows the rules, there won’t be any traffic jams. This bridge closure is important because it will help in building the Metro, which will make traveling in Pune much easier in the future.

The Pune transportation landscape continues to evolve with infrastructure improvements aimed at modernizing the city’s mobility options.
