On April 10, 2025, more than 7,700 people took part in the jail constable exam in Pune. The temperature was very high, over 40°C, but the candidates showed great strength and determination. They took their exams outside on the police grounds, which showed how much they wanted to work in law enforcement.
To keep the candidates safe and comfortable in the heat, the exam organizers made good plans. They set up big fans all around the area and sprayed water on the ground to help cool it down. They also made sure there were enough cold drinking water stations for everyone. Before the exam, candidates received bananas to help them feel better and stay hydrated during the tough exam.
The organizers worked with a local trust, the Dagdusheth Ganapati Halwai Mandir Trust, to help 2,500 candidates from outside Pune. They provided free places to stay and even offered breakfast, so the candidates could focus on their studies without worrying about where to sleep or eat.
Even with the hot weather, there were no reports of anyone getting sick from the heat. This was great news! It happened because the safety rules were followed well, and the candidates drank enough water. The exam went smoothly, showing how well the organizers planned for the tough conditions.
This successful exam shows how important it’s to plan properly for big events like this. Everyone worked together—the organizers, local groups, and the candidates—to make sure everything went well, even in the heat.
This exam can be a good example for future tests, especially when the weather is very hot, showing that we can keep things fair and make sure everyone is safe.
