Maharashtra is working hard to improve sports in the state. They’ve started a new program called ‘Mi Mission Lakshavedh Initiative.’ This program is all about helping private sports academies with money so they can get better at training athletes in 12 different sports.

The program focuses on important Olympic sports like athletics, archery, and boxing. It gives private academies a chance to build better training facilities. If these academies want financial help, they’ve to go through a careful check-up process. This process looks at how well athletes are doing, how good the coaches are, and how nice the sports facilities are.

There are three levels of funding based on how well the academies perform. The best academies, called Class A, can get Rs 30 lakh every year. Class B academies will receive Rs 20 lakh, and Class C academies will get Rs 10 lakh. This way, the money helps the best academies the most.

To help academies apply for this support, the government has set up a simple system. District Sports Officers will help them with paperwork and information about what they need to qualify for the funding.

The ‘Mi Mission Lakshavedh Initiative’ shows that Maharashtra wants to create a strong sports culture. This program will help private academies train better and produce great athletes. It also shows how the government can work with private organizations to improve sports in the state.
