The Maharashtra Education Board will share Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) exam results by the end of May 2025. This year, the board has made many changes in how they check papers, including using computers and new ways to give marks fairly. The exam time has been shortened from 3 hours to 2.5 hours, and students had to answer some questions by filling circles on special sheets.
Around 15.8 lakh students wrote Class 10 exams and 13.2 lakh students appeared for Class 12 exams. These students are from nine different areas of Maharashtra – Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan. The board expects that about 95% of students will pass their exams, which is similar to last year’s results.
Students can check their results in many ways – on the board’s website (mahahsscboard.in), through mobile apps, or by SMS. If students have any problems about their results, they can call the helpline number 022-2389-4567. The board has asked about 85,000 teachers to check papers in 250 centers to make sure everyone gets correct marks.
The board will give special certificates and prize money worth Rs. 2.5 crore to students who score very high marks. They’ll also give extra help to students from poor families. The names of students who get top marks in each district will be announced when the results come out.
Students can get their marksheets online through DigiLocker within one day after results. Their schools will give them the original marksheets after 15 days. The board has also arranged special help for students who want their papers to be checked again or need to give the exam again.
For students feeling worried about exams, the board has arranged special teachers who can help them feel better. These teachers will guide students about what to do after their results, like which college to choose or what subjects to study next. This help will be available before and after the results are announced.
