Massive Fire in Budhwar Peth, Short Circuit Likely

A big fire broke out near Dagdusheth Halwai Temple in Budhwar Peth at 1:06 AM. The fire started in a two-floor wooden building and spread to two shops nearby. The good news is that 8-10 people who were inside got out safely before the fire became too big.

Fire department sent many people to help – 10 fire trucks, 5 officers, and 50 firefighters came quickly to stop the fire. They worked very hard to make sure the fire didn’t reach the temple which was close by.

The fire officers think the fire started because of a short circuit in electrical wires, but they’re still checking properly to find out exactly what happened. They’re looking at the building and talking to people who saw the fire.

Police have stopped people from going near the burned area. This is to help the fire team work properly and keep everyone safe. They want to make sure no one gets hurt while they’re cleaning up and checking the place.

After this fire, officials are checking all buildings in Budhwar Peth area, especially old buildings with wooden parts and old electrical wires. They want to make sure such fires don’t happen again and want to make better plans for emergencies.

Fire officers are still at the place to make sure the fire doesn’t start again. They’re also checking if the building is safe now. This fire has taught everyone why it’s important to check electrical wires regularly and follow safety rules in all buildings.

This incident adds to the growing list of Pune crime news that emphasizes the need for better safety measures in older city areas.
