The Pune Municipal Corporation has made new rules about where cars can and can’t park in the Baner area to make traffic smoother. They’ve marked two main areas as no-parking zones – one is 800 meters long from Amar Arma Genesis to Solitaire 9 Society, and another is 500 meters from High Street, Balewadi to Park Express Society.

These new rules are very important because Baner has too many cars on its roads these days. When cars park on both sides of the road, it becomes very difficult for other vehicles to move. Now, with these no-parking areas, cars will have more space to drive through easily.

Between these two no-parking areas, there’s a special parking zone called P-1 and P-2. This zone starts from Park Express Society Gate and goes up to the Pune Municipal Corporation School. This means people can park their cars in this area, but they must follow the proper signs and rules.

Emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks don’t have to follow these parking rules. They can stop anywhere if there’s an emergency. This is important because these vehicles need to reach people quickly when there’s trouble.

The city officials have made these rules after carefully studying the traffic problems in Baner. They found that wrong parking was causing a lot of traffic jams. With these new rules, they hope that cars will move faster and there will be fewer traffic problems.

These changes are part of a bigger plan to make Baner’s roads better for everyone. The officials want to make sure that as Baner grows bigger with more buildings and people, the roads stay clear and safe. They believe these new parking rules will help make life easier for people who live in or visit Baner.

As Pune continues to expand its transportation infrastructure, these parking regulations represent just one component of the city’s evolving mobility landscape.
