The Pune Police have started to destroy 788 kilograms of illegal drugs, worth ₹7.76 crore, following orders from the court. This important step is part of their efforts to fight against drug trafficking and keep the community safe. The destruction will happen at a special facility in Ranjangaon MIDC.

Most of the drugs being destroyed are marijuana, which makes up 758 kilograms of the total. Other drugs like mephedrone, brown sugar, opium, and LSD are also included. The police will ensure that the destruction is done safely and according to the rules.
