The Maharashtra State Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council (MSEFC) in Pune is doing a great job in solving problems for small businesses. They’ve successfully settled 75% of the 6,210 cases they received, which means they helped 4,849 businesses as of March 2025. This shows how well the council works to help small business owners with their issues.

In the year 2024-25, the council was very active. They received 2,198 new cases and held 74 meetings to talk about the problems and 30 sessions to make decisions. They resolved 1,440 cases, which included money issues worth Rs 57 crore. This shows that MSEFC plays a big role in helping small businesses get paid on time.

The MSEFC helps businesses not just in Pune, but also in nearby places like Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, and Solapur. The council is made up of different people from industries and the government, which helps them make fair decisions and solve problems fairly for everyone.

They also started the MSME Samadhan initiative, which is an online system that makes it easier for businesses to report their problems. This digital system helps businesses get paid by those who owe them money, which is very helpful because many small businesses often face delays in payments.

The council’s success rate of 75% shows how important they’re for keeping good relationships among small businesses. By solving money disputes quickly, the MSEFC helps small businesses grow and reduces the need for going to court.

Their smart way of solving problems and using technology has helped the MSEFC stay efficient, even when many cases come in. This shows that they can handle new challenges while making sure disputes are resolved fairly and quickly, helping the small business sector in Maharashtra to develop sustainably.
