The Pune Regional Transport Office (RTO) has decided to make it easier for people to get High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) for their vehicles. They plan to increase the number of HSRP installation centers from 125 to 500. This is because many people have been waiting a long time to get their plates.

Right now, there are more than 25 lakh vehicles that need HSRP before the deadline of April 30. The current centers are too busy, and many people have appointments that go all the way to July. This has created a big problem because it mightn't be possible to meet the deadline. The RTO wants to solve this by adding more centers.

The RTO has asked a company called Rosmerta to open new centers quickly. They'll do this step by step, making sure that the new centers are in different parts of Pune. This way, more people can reach the centers easily and won't have to wait too long.

The RTO is using data to understand how many people need HSRP and how quickly they can help them. With 500 centers, they believe they can help everyone before the deadline. This is very important to follow the rules for vehicle identification.

The new centers will have the same tools and trained workers to ensure everyone gets good service. The RTO is also using a digital system for appointments to keep things organized and avoid crowding.

As the deadline gets closer, the RTO asks all vehicle owners to get their HSRP quickly. The new centers will have longer hours to help more people. Everyone should schedule their installation online, as this will help reduce waiting times and make the process easier for everyone.
