Two police stations in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Talegaon Dabhade and Chikhli, have done very well in the Chief Minister’s 100-day plan. This good news came after checking all police stations in the area on May 7, 2025.
The Chief Minister’s team looked at many things to decide which police stations were doing good work. They checked how the police stop crimes, talk to people in the area, and keep their police stations clean and organized. They also saw how police handle cases and take care of items left at the station.
Three other police stations – Bhosari, Dehu Road, and Dighi – also got good marks and came in second and third place. These stations showed that they’ve gotten much better at helping people and solving problems in their areas.
Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey, along with other senior officers like Additional Commissioner Vasant Pardeshi, DCP (Crime) Sandeep Doifode, and DCP (Traffic) Bapu Bangar, praised the police officers and workers who helped achieve this success.
The top police stations did many things right. They kept all their papers and files in order, found new ways to catch criminals, and worked closely with people living in their areas. This is exactly what the Chief Minister wanted – police stations that work better and help people more.
Other police stations can now learn from what Talegaon Dabhade and Chikhli Police Stations have done. These two stations have shown how police stations should work to serve people better. This improvement in how police stations work is very important for making Pimpri-Chinchwad a safer and better place for everyone.
The stations’ success has drawn attention away from Pune sports updates, which typically dominate local news coverage.
