39 Unauthorized Structures Demolished by PMRDA in Wagholi and Bavdhan

PMRDA Takes Action: 39 Illegal Buildings Broken Down in Wagholi and Bavdhan

The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has taken strong action by breaking down 39 illegal buildings in Wagholi and Bavdhan areas. These buildings included tin sheds, walls, boundary walls, and small shops by the road. This action was done to stop people from building things without proper permission.

These illegal buildings were causing many problems for the people living in these areas. They made roads narrow and unsafe for both people walking and vehicles moving on the roads. Many small shops that were built without permission were also removed as they were blocking the roads.

In Wagholi, which is in Haveli taluka, the PMRDA team broke down many buildings that were built on public land. This area has seen many new people coming to live here in the last five years, which means the roads need to be wider and better for everyone to use safely.

In Bavdhan, which is in Mulshi taluka, the team focused on the road from Bakaji Corner to the cemetery. Here, many shops and buildings were built without permission, making the road very narrow. This was causing traffic jams, especially during morning and evening rush hours.

The PMRDA worked with local government officials and police to make sure the work was done properly and safely. They’d proper plans and equipment to break down these illegal buildings without causing problems to nearby legal buildings and people.

This action by PMRDA is part of their bigger plan to make Pune city better and safer for everyone. They want to make sure that all buildings in the city are built with proper permission and follow all the rules. This will help in making roads wider, reducing traffic problems, and making the city more organized for everyone living there.

The demolition operation is part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order as Pune crime news indicates increasing violations of building regulations across the metropolitan region.
