I clicked this photo at the ticket counter, so these are the actual prices on the board, not copied from some old website. Many websites still show the old rates of ₹50 entry and ₹350 packages, which have gone up.

Three things to remember before you reach the counter. Height decides your ticket, not age, so anyone above 3.5 feet pays the adult rate. Carry cash, because debit and credit cards are not accepted. Paytm works, but only for the full packages.

Does Appu Ghar have a water park?
A lot of people search for “Appu Ghar water park”, so let me clear this up. The famous Appu Ghar water park (Oyster) is in Gurgaon, not here. The Pune park is mainly an amusement park with dry rides. - By train: Akurdi is the nearest railway station, 7 minutes by cab and about 25 minutes by bus. Chinchwad station is another option around 6 km away.
- By metro: PCMC Bhavan on the Pune Metro purple line is the closest metro station, roughly 5 km from the park. From there an auto or PMPML bus takes you to Bhakti Shakti Chowk.
- By bus: PMPML buses to Bhakti Shakti Chowk stop a short walk from the gate.
- By air: Pune Airport is about 25 km away. Keep up to 2 hours in hand for traffic.
Parking
The parking lot is big, around 50 to 60 four wheelers fit comfortably, and even on a weekend I saw no one struggling for a spot. Two wheeler parking is also available.
My honest Appu Ghar review
Now the part no ticket-price website can give you, because I actually went. I took the ₹100 entry ticket, paid per ride, and here is how the day went.
Roller coaster
I started with the roller coaster and it set the tone for the whole visit. The zig-zag turns and the speed had me shouting and laughing at the same time. For ₹80 it is easily the best ride in the park. If you try only one adult ride, make it this one.
Appu Columbus
The big boat that swings back and forth. The higher it goes, the louder everyone screams. Families and kids around me were loving it, and the whole area had a happy, noisy energy that is hard to describe.
Go karting (for kids)
Kids get a four wheeled kart, a quick instruction from the caretaker, and then they drive it themselves. Watching a seven year old take corners like a Formula 1 driver was entertainment in itself.
Cricket game zone
As a cricket lover I could not skip this. You get a bat, proper nets, and a bowling machine. I faced 10 balls and middled a few cover drives so cleanly that people actually stopped to watch. My favourite memory from the whole visit.
Fish spa
Small fish nibble at your feet and clean the dead skin. It tickles badly for the first minute, then it turns weirdly relaxing. A nice break between rides.
Jumping frog
This one works for both kids and adults, so parents can sit with their children. Every jump of the frog got a fresh round of giggles from the whole row.
Food court
When hunger hit, the food court had snacks, juices and a good range of ice cream flavours. Prices are reasonable for an amusement park. Note that food is not included in the ₹500 package, so budget separately for it. You can also carry water bottles.
How much time do you need?
Keep 3 to 4 hours aside if you want to cover the main rides without rushing. Families with small kids usually take the full 4 hours.
